The talent pool voucher scheme facilitates meritorious ST students to study further in the best educational institutions of Gujarat. Under this scheme, students whose family’s annual income is below Rs. 3 Lakh are eligible. Fees up to Rs.80, 000 per student per year is given by the Government. This initiative is targeted to benefit ST students of class 5 and class 10, seeking admission in the next class after they clear an entrance test scoring more than 60% marks. Government assists in payment of all the required fees. Fees include registration, processing, admission, security deposit, tuition fees and any extra fees etc. Empanelment of 31 excellent private residential schools has been done to facilitate quality education of meritorious tribal students.
